Save Money on Mobile Calls & Data

The mobile signal in the New Forest varies considerably from street to street, so I always recommend grabbing a PAYG SIM and putting a couple of quid on it for a week before possibly looking at contracts. Vodafone, O2, 3 and EE are all options, but I personally use and recommend;

giffgaff (O2) for general mobile phone usage as they offer free calls between customers - so great for a family or business. Get your FREE SIM and £5 extra credit with your first Top-up from giffgaff.

SMARTY (3) offer the best UNLIMITED data bundle you can find. Get your FREE SIM and one month free with your first Top-up from SMARTY.

Poor Mobile Coverage and Dropped Calls

If like me you live in an area of the New Forest with poor mobile coverage then this may be of interest to you. According to the Ofcom Mobile Signal Checker I live on the edge of their 3G coverage, which resulted in a lot of dropped mobile calls as I moved from room to room around the house. Initially I tried swapping phones but the problem remained, so I investigated other options online and with radio qualified colleagues.

Since installing a 900Mhz repeater a few months ago I've not had a single dropped call. Give me a call to discuss options and prices.
